Date of birth: November 20, 1973. Place of birth: Shymkent, Kazakhstan. In 1990, she graduated from Secondary School No. 53 named after Lapshin and in the same year was admitted to the Faculty of Biology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National State University, from which she graduated in 1995. From 1995 to 1997, she worked as a lecturer at the Department of General Biology at the Shymkent Pedagogical Institute of Physical Culture. Between 1997 and 2021, she was employed at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University. On May 19, 2006, she was awarded the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD equivalent) in Microbiology (specialty 03.00.07). Her dissertation was entitled: “Application of Hydrocarbon-Oxidizing Microflora for the Remediation of Oil-Contaminated Soils under the Arid Climate Conditions of Southern Kazakhstan.” Since 2021, she has been working at Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Biology.

RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC ACTIVITY

She is the author of more than 120 scientific and scientific-methodological publications, including 12 patents and innovative patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 4 electronic textbooks, 12 educational and methodological manuals, 6 university course curricula, and 4 monographs. During the period 2003–2026, she has served as a leading researcher in target program and grant-funded scientific projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in contractual research projects. Her research focuses on environmental biotechnology and education.

Tursunkul Umirzak (born October 10, 1948, Payaryk District, Samarkand Region, Republic of Uzbekistan) is a scientist, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1989), Professor (1991).

From 1965 to 1967, he worked as a school teacher. From 1967 to 1972, he studied at the Samarkand Agricultural Institute named after V.V. Kuibyshev.

From 1972 to 1996, he worked at the Kazakh Research Institute of Karakul Breeding (Shymkent): postgraduate student (1972–1975), scientific secretary (1975–1977), head of the Department of Genetics and Selection (1977–1992), First Deputy Director for Science of the “Karakul” Scientific-Production Association and the institute (1992–1996).

From 1996 to 2009, he was a professor at the Department of Biology of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
Since 2009, he has been a professor at the Departments of Biology and Biotechnology of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University.

He is the author of about 250 scientific publications and a member (academician) of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

His main scientific works focus on the genetics and selection of karakul sheep. He has also published research and educational works in ethology, psychogenetics, anthropogenetics, and biotechnology. He has completed scientific internships in the USA and China.

Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor

Date of birth: 11 september 1956

Place of birth: south kazakhstan region, kirovsky district, kzyl-kum state farm. In 1974, she graduated from abay secondary school and from 1974 to 1976 worked on a construction site in the village of chardara. In 1976, she enrolled in the biology department of the kazakh state university named after s. M. Kirov. From 1974 to 1981, she graduated from the university with a degree in biology (biologist. Teacher of biology and chemistry). From 1981 to 1982, she worked in the biopunkt-a laboratory of the kyzylkum state farm.

From 1981 to 1997, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant, junior researcher, postgraduate student, senior researcher, and leading researcher at the kazakh scientific research institute of karakul sheep Breeding. From 1997 to 2024, she worked at the H.A. Yasavi Institute of Technology as a professor in the Department of Biology.

Since 1991, she has been a candidate of biological sciences, specialising in 03.00.11-Embryology, histology, cytology. Thesis topic: "Histological and EPR spectroscopic features of hair pigmentation in Karakul lambs of different colours." Moscow, diploma (KD No. 049688).

In 2010, she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic "Identification of the severity of mastitis and selection of Karakul sheep," specialising in breeding, selection, genetics, and reproduction of farm animals - 06.02.01. From 2024 to the present, I have been working as a professor at the South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University named after Ө. Zhanibekov, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Biology.
